Welcome to the Henderson County School website. It is a blessing for me to work with such dedicated faculty and staff in our school system. It is our belief that each child in the Henderson County School District can achieve great things. We also believe it is our responsibility to provide personalized, high quality instruction in a caring, nurturing environment. We hold high expectations for all students through rigorous and relevant educational experiences that challenge them to become responsible, ethical, and engaged citizens. Henderson County Schools serves approximately 4,000 students within seven elementary schools and two high schools. Our system was recognized as an Exemplary District for the 2017-18 and 2018-2019 school year by the Tennessee Department of Education.
