DESCRIPTION
FCCLA is the only student led Career & Technical organization that focuses on FAMILY. It helps students develop career skills and learn to balance career, family responsibilities, and personal leadership styles. FCCLA’s ultimate goal is to prepare students for community living as responsible citizens.
ACTIVITIES
Promotion of and involvement in service projects that serve families including HC Teen Health Council, Carl Perkins Center (volunteer/donations), St. Jude (donations), and annual SH Blessing Box food drive.
“Students Taking Action with Recognition” is a competitive program that allows students the option to compete at local, state, and national levels either independently or as a group
National Cluster Meeting in November (travel is optional & at the cost of the member) – Deposits due by September & full amount due by October 1st. All members are eligible to attend.
