Mrs. Karissa's 5th grade celebrated Earth Day on Thursday (due to TCAP) . They observed the tadpoles' water under a microscope to see the tadpoles' body parts and microorganisms the tadpoles eat. They finished up making STEM frog straw rockets. Students had to design their frog to launch the farthest and accurately measure the distance the frog traveled. Winners of the Frog Rockets were Olivia and Parker.
