Mrs. Emalee's 3rd grade read "The Coat of Many Colors" and listened to the song during our activity time and talked about Dolly Parton.
Today, we’re taking a moment to celebrate someone who has made a BIG difference for children and education—Dolly Parton!
Through her Imagination Library, Dolly has helped provide free books to young children, giving millions of kids the opportunity to build their own home libraries and develop a love for reading.
She believes that every child deserves the chance to learn, dream, and imagine—and we couldn’t agree more!
So today as we celebrate Dolly Parton, let’s remember the importance of reading, learning, and using our imagination. Who knows? The next great author, teacher, scientist, or even musician could be right here at Beaver School! : Dream big, read often, and always be kind.” Dolly
