🌸 Spring Break is Here! 🌸

Henderson County Schools will be on spring break from Monday, March 30, through Friday, April 3. We hope our students, staff, and families enjoy a well-deserved week of rest, fun, and rejuvenation!

Staff development will take place on Monday, April 6, and students will return to class on Tuesday, April 7.

Enjoy your break, stay safe, and we look forward to seeing everyone back and ready for a strong finish to the school year!

Tonight was the First Annual All Star Volleyball game! 🏐 Pin Oak had 4 all stars to represent our school; Mykinah Duke, Scarlett Carver, Hailee Carver, & Maggie Horn. Way to represent ladies! ✨

Our supply store will be open this Wednesday with some new items!! :)

The 2025/2026 Henderson County Volleyball Tournament took place today at Lexington High School. The Westover Bears were crowned champions and the Bargerton Rebels finished the season in 2nd place.

Congratulations to our Kindness Award winners, Alandry in PreK and Wade in 4th Grade! We are so proud of the kindness, compassion, and positive example they show each day at school. Thank you both for making our school a better place with your caring hearts! Keep up the great work! ✨

🏐 It’s 8th Grade Night! 🦅 Tonight we honor our 8th grade volleyball players for their commitment, leadership, and hard work. We are proud of everything they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what they do next! Come out and help us celebrate these Eagles one more time on their home court.

Pin Oak Book Fair is continuing this week on Monday, March 16th-Thursday, March 19th!! Stem Family Night will be Tuesday, March 17th-- 4:00-6:30 PM--The Scholastic Book Fair will be open for parents and students to shop that night. Scholastic Book Fair Ewallet is the easy way for students to shop the Fair cash-free, worry-free, and independently. It’s also easy for families to set up from your school’s Book Fair homepage! The book fair will be open during Pre-K & Kindergarten registration tonight until 6 pm. It will also be open tomorrow during the day 8am-2:30pm.   Thanks 😊

Future Pin Oak cheerleaders! 🧡🖤 Sweet 2nd graders!

BINGO, but make it learning! 🔢✨ Our PreK students had so much fun playing Number Bingo! From recognizing numbers to cheering when they got BINGO, these little learners were practicing their math skills while having a blast. Watching their excitement as they spotted their numbers was the best part! Way to go, PreK superstars! ⭐🎉

School-Wide Spelling Bee has been rescheduled for the April 8, 2026, at 1:15 p.m. in the new gym! The top three students will move on to represent our school at the County Spelling Bee on May 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at LHS.

Spring Pictures-March 20th for PK, 1st-7th graders!
