Third grade kicked off Read Across America Week in the best way! 📚✨
We were so excited to welcome our special guest reader, Mrs. Janet Hays, to our classroom today. She read The Sour Grape to our students, and they absolutely loved it! 🍇 The story sparked great conversations about choices, attitudes, and treating others kindly.
As if that wasn’t sweet enough, Mrs. Hays also brought treats for everyone — which made the day even more special! 💜

Monday, March 2nd-- Flashlight Reading--Drop Everything and Read with Flashlights sometime during the day on Monday--Students can bring flashlights to school to read during Drop Everything and Read time.
March 2nd-6th-- Reading Bingo & Reading Log-- Keep track of their reading during the week to complete a bingo. Students will turn a bingo reading log sheet into their teacher for a sticker or piece of candy.
