We are so excited to welcome Mrs. Kelley Mount to Pin Oak Elementary! “My name is Kelley Mount and I will be teaching 5th Grade Reading and Social Studies. This will be my sixth year teaching, and I am so excited to spend it joining Pin Oak Elementary. I have been married to my husband, Trevor, for 8 years. We have two daughters, Gracie and Alora. I love to read, go shopping, and spend quality time with my family. I look forward to an amazing school year!”

I’ve been a substitute for a few years and have loved it! I’m married to my husband, Charlie, and have 5 girls! I can’t wait for this upcoming school year to get started and see all the wonderful students and faculty at Pin Oak! Have a blessed day!”

We are pleased to announce this addition to our faculty! “Hello my name is Michael Atchison and I will teaching PE at Pin Oak Elementary. This will be my 21st year teaching. I’ve been at South Gibson Elementary the last 8 years but am thrilled to be coming back to Henderson County where I started my teaching career. I look forward to meeting all my new students and all the teachers and administration at Pin Oak in the coming weeks.”

Help us in welcoming one of our newest faculty members for the 2023-2024 school year!!! “My name is Kristi Ostrom and I will be teaching 6-7 grade mathematics this year. I have been in the teaching field for 6 years. I was previously a teacher for Lexington Christian Academy, where I taught high school math. I am married with three kids and two grandkids. I love spending quality time with them. In my spare time I enjoy camping, being involved with church activities, and watching my daughter play soccer. I am extremely excited about teaching at Pin Oak this year!”

We are super excited to welcome Emily to our Pin Oak faculty!! “My name is Emily Middleton and I’ll be in Pre-K this year! I have been in the Pre-K department for 10 years & look forward to being at Pin Oak this school year! I have been married to my husband Jacob for almost 2 years and we have an 8 month old, Henley Ann. I also have two bonus kids, Avery & Trace that attend Pin Oak Elementary. In my free time I love reading, coaching my kids in softball/baseball, going to church, and spending quality time with my family. I’m so excited to be joining the staff at Pin Oak. Go Eagles! 🧡”

Pin Oak is thrilled to welcome Emma to our faculty! “My name is Emma Archer and I’ll be teaching 5th grade math and science this school year! I student taught 4th grade at Pin Oak last year, so I’m super excited to teach the same students as fifth graders. I recently married my husband Noah and we love to travel, play sports, and watch our favorite show (Friends) together. In my free time I love reading, working out, and cleaning. I’m so excited for this school year at Pin Oak!”🧡🦅

The Henderson County North Softball roster will be released on Monday, July 10th. 🥎

Coach Mason Taylor would like to take this time to introduce our assistant coaches... Joining our staff this year will be Shelese Arnold and Anna Taylor. Shelese is a 2011 graduate of LHS. Following her years at LHS, Shelese played at the University of Illinois as a pitcher. Anna is a 2019 graduate of South Side High School. Following her years at South Side, Anna played at Blue Mountain College as a third baseman. Shelese will serve as our pitching coach for LHS, and Anna will be working with our hitters and defenders. Anna will also serve as the Head Coach for Henderson County North. Please join me in welcoming these two wonderful coaches to our program. - Coach Taylor

We still have openings available in the Henderson County Pre-K program at Bargerton, Beaver, Pin Oak, Scotts Hill Elementary, South Haven, Southside, and Westover. All children who will be four (4) years old on or before August 15, 2023 are eligible to register for Pre-K for the 2023-2024 school year. Requested documents to bring: -Proof of Income (ex: check stub, income tax return, public assistance case, etc.) -Proof of age such as birth certificate, other medical documents -Social Security Card -Proof of Immunizations on a Tennessee Certificate of Immunization form from the Health Department or a Physician’s office -Copy of Physical Examination (within 1 calendar year) -Two (2) Proofs of County Residence (E911 address) (ex: electric bill, water bill, etc.) ***Please bring requested documentation to the Henderson County Board of Education, located at 35 E. Wilson Street in Lexington, and complete a PreK application packet. Non-income eligible students will NOT be notified until after school has started. Non-income eligible students are placed on a waiting list once all paperwork is complete. Once all qualifying students are placed, non-income eligible students will receive notice informing them of their status after the beginning of school, per the VPK grant guidelines.
