Scotts Hill FFA was the largest group in attendance at the Pathways to Professions career event in Nashville, TN on March 2nd, 2026. Congratulations to Sydnie Conley, Ein Maness, Mason Hennington, Cooper Pettay, Brady Lewis, and Cooper Liles on being selected to attend.
Pathways to Professions, coordinated through Tennessee FFA, is a competitive career exploration program designed to expose students to high-demand skilled trades and technical careers across the state. Through an application process, selected students are given the opportunity to engage directly with industry professionals, training programs, and postsecondary instructors to better understand workforce pathways and required skills.
During their visit to Nashville, our students toured and interacted with members of the Pipefitters and Ironworkers Unions, as well as instructors at the TCAT Nashville campus. They participated in hands-on learning experiences including climbing structural beams, tying rebar, practicing welding techniques, and gaining insight into apprenticeship programs and technical certifications.
This prestigious opportunity allowed students to explore meaningful career options while developing practical skills, and they represented The Hill with professionalism and pride throughout the experience.
