Tonight, our Honor Guard proudly presented the 13-Fold Flag Ceremony in recognition of Veteran’s Night. We were honored to welcome members of American Legion Post 243, who generously volunteered their time to teach our students the proper way to present and fold the American flag.
Each fold of the flag holds deep meaning, symbolizing values such as life, liberty, and the sacrifice of those who have served. The demonstration not only honored our nation’s veterans but also provided a valuable learning experience for our students, reminding us all of the importance of respect, patriotism, and service.
This year, we were especially proud to recognize Mr. Jerry Kirby, a local veteran who served in Vietnam in the U.S. Army from 1969-1971 in the 11th Army Calvary as 919th Engineer, as our 2025 Veteran’s Night honoree. His dedication and service to our country serve as an inspiration to all who had the privilege of attending tonight’s ceremony.
We extend our deepest gratitude to American Legion Post 243 and to all veterans who have served and continue to serve our nation
