Scotts Hill Elementary School is proud to announce Mrs. Jennifer Myracle as the 2024–2025 Teacher of the Year.
Mrs. Myracle has been a dedicated educator in the Henderson County School System for seven years. Known for her enthusiasm, compassion, and commitment to her students, she exemplifies the values and spirit of excellence that define Scotts Hill Elementary.
“I love my job!” Mrs. Myracle shared. “I believe that praising students is one of the most powerful tools a teacher can use to inspire growth, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. Recognizing students’ hard work—both big and small accomplishments—shows them that effort matters just as much as outcomes. Whether it’s celebrating academic success, kind behavior, or perseverance through challenges, genuine praise builds trust and motivation in the classroom. When teachers take time to highlight each child’s unique strengths, they create a positive and encouraging environment where every student feels seen, valued, and capable of achieving greatness.”
Mrs. Myracle is married to Clint Myracle, and together they have two children, Seth and Savannah.
Her ability to connect with students and inspire them to reach their full potential makes her a beloved member of the Scotts Hill Elementary community.
Congratulations to Mrs. Jennifer Myracle on this well-deserved honor!
