Weather Communication from HCS:
Henderson County Schools will be closed this week, Monday, January 26, through Friday, January 30. Our county and the state are presently under a State of Emergency proclamation due to the winter storm we experienced and its ongoing aftermath. Hazardous travel conditions and continued safety concerns exist across our district, making this closure necessary to protect students, staff, and families.
We encourage everyone to take appropriate precautions during this time, limit travel when possible, and remain mindful of hazardous weather conditions. During this challenging time, we ask our school community to keep one another in their thoughts and prayers. As always, our priority is the safety and well-being of those we serve, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
