As the final buzzer sounds on another exciting season of Peewee Basketball at Scotts Hill Elementary, there is so much to celebrate. This year’s program brought together Pre-K through 4th grade students for a season full of learning, teamwork, and school spirit.
From the very first dribble to the final game, our young ball players showed tremendous growth on and off the court. Pre-K and Kindergarten athletes learned the fundamentals — dribbling, passing, and working together — while our older players sharpened their skills and built confidence with every game. More importantly, they learned valuable lessons about sportsmanship, perseverance, and encouraging one another.
Our cheerleaders added energy and excitement all season long. With bright smiles and enthusiastic chants, they supported their teams and helped create a fun, positive atmosphere at every game. Their dedication and school pride truly made a difference.
Peewee Basketball at Scotts Hill Elementary is about more than just the scoreboard. It’s about building friendships, developing character, and inspiring a love for the game at an early age. As this season comes to an end, one thing is certain — the future is looking bright. With so much young talent, heart, and determination already shining through, there’s no doubt great things are ahead for these students both on and off the court.
