Baseball season officially returned to The Hill Monday evening as the middle school team opened its season against Chester County. Despite frigid temperatures, fans bundled up and filled the stands to cheer on the boys as they took the field for the first game of the year.
The excitement of opening night was matched by a special pregame ceremony. Members of American Legion Post 243 Scotts Hill TN proudly presented the colors, setting a patriotic tone and reminding everyone of the strong community support behind the team.
The chilly weather didn’t dampen the spirit of the crowd or the players, as supporters showed up in full force to celebrate the start of another season. With opening night in the books, The Hill is ready for an exciting spring of middle school baseball. ⚾
