Scotts Hill Elementary had a wonderful time celebrating Read Across America Week, a nationwide event that encourages students to develop a love for reading while honoring the birthday of beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss.

Throughout the week, students participated in a variety of reading activities and special events centered around books and storytelling. One of the highlights of the celebration was welcoming several special guest readers who visited classrooms to share their favorite stories with students. Their time and enthusiasm helped make reading even more exciting and meaningful for our students.

Scotts Hill Elementary would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the community members and guests who took time out of their day to visit and read to our students. Your support helps inspire a love of reading that will last a lifetime.

Read Across America Week was a great reminder that books have the power to spark imagination, build knowledge, and bring people together. Scotts Hill Elementary is proud to continue encouraging students to open a book and discover the joy of reading. 📚🎉
