pi

Students in Ms. Samantha’s 8th grade math class recently celebrated Pi Day a little early with a fun and delicious class pie party. Pi Day, observed each year on March 14 (3/14), celebrates the mathematical constant Pi, which represents the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter.

To mark the occasion, students enjoyed a variety of pies while taking time to appreciate the importance of π in mathematics. The celebration gave students a chance to connect math concepts to a real-world tradition while enjoying time together outside the usual routine of classwork.

The early celebration was a great way to build excitement for math and create a memorable experience for students as they explored one of the most famous numbers in mathematics. 🥧📐
