Scotts Hill Elementary’s second grade classes recently celebrated a big win after taking first place in the school’s Lifeline Blood Drive contest. Through their efforts to encourage family and community members to donate, the second graders helped make the blood drive a success while learning the importance of giving back and helping others.
As a reward for their hard work, the entire second grade enjoyed a well-deserved pizza party, celebrating not only their victory but also the impact they made in supporting an important cause. Their enthusiasm and commitment showed that even the youngest students can make a meaningful difference in their community.
A special recognition goes to Lakin Tucker, who brought in the highest number of volunteer donors for the blood drive. For her outstanding effort, Lakin was awarded a gift card of her choice.
Scotts Hill Elementary is proud of its second graders for stepping up, showing generosity, and demonstrating what it means to be community-minded leaders.
