Scotts Hill Elementary’s first graders recently enjoyed a fun and engaging “Camp Read-A-Lot” experience, made even more special with the help of their 8th grade buddies. The older students partnered with the younger readers to share Accelerated Reader (AR) books, creating a supportive and exciting environment for literacy. Laughter, storytelling, and teamwork filled the room as students built connections across grade levels while strengthening their reading skills. Camp Read-A-Lot was a wonderful example of how collaboration can inspire a love of reading and create lasting memories for students of all ages.
