Week 4 was another fun and exciting week at Scotts Hill Elementary! Our Middle School Softball team had a great week with a big win over Clarksburg. We are proud of our Lady Lions and all their hard work!
Friday was especially fun as we celebrated Dolly Day in honor of the legendary Dolly Parton! Our students and staff showed off their best Dolly-inspired looks with pink, cowboy boots, big hair, and plenty of country flair. Even better, we collected donations to support Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, helping put books into the hands of children.
We also had a special celebration for Ms. Melissa’s first-grade class, who earned Popsicles with the Principal! They enjoyed a cool treat and some well-deserved time celebrating their success.
It was another wonderful week to be a Lion! We are looking forward to all the learning, fun, and memories still to come this school year. Roar, Lions, Roar! 🦁💛🖤
