Week 5 was another exciting week at Scotts Hill! 4th grade had a very special visit from Mr. Slytherin the snake, giving students an unforgettable hands-on opportunity to learn more about vertebrates and invertebrates. Middle school got to meet him while visiting the STEM Bus.
It was also a great week for our Lions on the field! Football battled West Carroll and pulled off an exciting overtime victory, while our Lady Lions softball team picked up another win against Clarksburg. We are so proud of our athletes and all their hard work!
In the classroom, 4th grade enjoyed reading On Account of Gum and diving into another great story while strengthening their reading skills.
We are also incredibly grateful to Walmart for their generous donation of school supplies to help support our students and teachers. We appreciate our community partners who help make a difference at Scotts Hill!
To top off the week, students enjoyed a school-wide Popsicle Party! It was the perfect way to celebrate a fun-filled week of learning, teamwork, and Lion pride.
