This week, the Henderson County School District celebrates the faculty, staff, and students at SOUTH SIDE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!! South Side was founded in 1987! We hope you enjoy the week celebrating this great school!







HC North Baseball tryouts will be on Monday, September 25 @ 6:30.
This is for 6th-8th Graders. Players trying out need to bring their baseball equipment, cleats, and tennis shoes if they have them.

3rd graders have been learning about animals and how they are classified. Today they dissected owl pellets to learn more about the carnivorous diet of owls! 🦉

Congratulations, Hailey Adkison!
On September 9, Hailey was the first to finish the Chattanooga Mud Run.
This run is one mile long race with 8 different obstacles. Some obstacles include going through mud and water. The race is hosted by the Phoenix Race Company and benefits the Habitat for Humanity Chattanooga Area.
We are all so proud of Hailey and her accomplishments.

8th grade completed a Balloon Rocket Lab to demonstrate Newton’s Third Law.
