On Friday, September 8, South Haven students will celebrate Grandparents’ Day.
We're inviting all grandparents to come and have breakfast with their grandchildren.
We will serve sausage and biscuits, fruit, pastries, milk, and/or juice—the cost: $3.00 per adult.
For more information, please be on the lookout for the note your student will bring home. You must complete and return the bottom portion of the flyer before Tuesday, August 29.

Dr. Janet Hayes, Supervisor of Instruction, presented Certificates of Tenure to five teachers at tonight's Henderson County School Board meeting. Those receiving tenure were Michelle McPeake (South Haven), Cheney Weatherford (Pin Oak), Amber Vineyard (Scotts Hill Elementary), Kerri Foster (South Haven), and Kelly Page (LHS). Congratulations!

2023-2024 Henderson County Schools Full Faculty & Staff Inservice
South Haven proudly announces that Mr. Wyatt Stephens will join the South Haven Hawks for the 2023-24 school year.
Mr. Stephens graduated from Bethel University in 2019 with a Bachelor's of Science in History and recently graduated from Memphis Theological Seminary with his Master of Divinity. He is an ordained minister in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He is currently Serving the Palestine Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lexington, TN, just a couple of miles from South Haven Elementary School. He married his wife, Natalie Stephens (in photo), in May 2019. His favorite hobbies include: playing golf, exercising, watching television and sports, movies, reading, playing the guitar, and swimming!
A Note from Wyatt: I am excited to join the South Haven team! I have enjoyed every aspect of my own educational journey and cannot wait for the opportunity to participate in others' journeys as well. Plus, I hear a pretty cool music teacher stops by South Haven once a week, so seeing her in the halls will also be pretty exciting!
Our hawk family is growing and changing. That said, we'd love to announce that Ms. Savannah Kee will join us for the 2023-24 school year.
Hi! My name is Savannah Kee. I am very excited to teach in the VPK program at South Haven! I graduated from MTSU with an Early Childhood Ed. degree and this will be my second year teaching. I am very family-oriented. I also love concerts, road trips, and anything near water.
I can't wait to help our little hawks grow and learn this year!

My name is Adrienne Melton. I am 25 years old and am the proud mother of two beautiful bundles of joy. I love photography, reading, and spending time with my family and friends.
I am grateful and excited for this new opportunity as the Pre-K Paraprofessional at South Haven Elementary. I look forward to this school year and all the growth and opportunities it will bring!
We would like to welcome Ms. Victoria Jones to the Hawks Nest.
Hi there! My name is Victoria Jones, and I am so excited to announce that I will be teaching K-8 Special Education at South Haven Elementary this year! I recently graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin, but my Black and Gold blood runs deep. As a South Haven Hawk alum, I’m thankful to be able to teach at the school where I grew up and graduated from in 2015.
I want to take a moment to share a little information about myself. I grew up in Lexington, and I’m grateful to be able to work back in my hometown. I love to travel, and I’m always down for an adventure. My friends and family are my heartbeat, and I’m thankful to have such a great support system.
I cannot wait to meet you all very soon. I look forward to working with your students, the amazing staff at South Haven, and you, the parents! Go Hawks!!!

Coach Mason Taylor would like to take this time to introduce our assistant coaches...
Joining our staff this year will be Shelese Arnold and Anna Taylor. Shelese is a 2011 graduate of LHS. Following her years at LHS, Shelese played at the University of Illinois as a pitcher. Anna is a 2019 graduate of South Side High School. Following her years at South Side, Anna played at Blue Mountain College as a third baseman. Shelese will serve as our pitching coach for LHS, and Anna will be working with our hitters and defenders. Anna will also serve as the Head Coach for Henderson County North. Please join me in welcoming these two wonderful coaches to our program.
