7th grade had a great field trip to Donnell Farms!

Today our 8th grade students enjoyed participating in the 4-H On My Own program — a real-life financial simulation that gave students hands-on experience with budgeting, decision-making, and planning for the future. Thank you to everyone involved for helping make this valuable learning experience possible for our students!

Our 8th grade students had an amazing day on their field trip today! They enjoyed visiting Freed-Hardeman University and also had a fun experience at the alpaca farm in Jacks Creek. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day so special for our students! 🚌🎓🦙

2026/27 Henderson County Middle School Dance Team

Congratulations to our top three school-wide spelling bee winners! 1st Place: Logan Wright 2nd Place: Kinsley Tuberville 3rd Place: Natalia Cupples These students will represent South Side on May 13 at the county-level spelling bee at Lexington High School. A HUGE shoutout to all of our participants—you all did an incredible job! We’re so proud of your hard work, courage, and determination. Keep shining!
