Our first grade class had such a fun day! We wrote creative stories about a pet turkey and completed a directed turkey drawing. We also learned about the history of Thanksgiving and shared our own family traditions.
After listening to the story "Balloons Over Broadway," we learned how the famous Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade balloons are made. We also enjoyed watching the second graders as they marched in their own character balloon parade!
We wrapped up our day with a Friendsgiving Feast. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!

Ms. Leah's 6th grade class is studying Ancient China, so she brought in some things her husband,Clay, brought back from China during his work trips.
She is wearing an outfit, has a fan, chop sticks, post card, money and replica terra cotta soldiers.

Kindergarten used a recipe to make pumpkin pie in a cup today! Their favorite part was making the graham cracker crust! Yum!

Friendsgiving 2025 im Kinder!

Second grade had the best day! We learned all about the history of the Macy’s Day Parade and Tony Sarg, the puppeteer responsible for the invention of the large helium balloons. Then our students created their own balloons, and the whole school lined the halls as we paraded through! We wrapped up the day by sharing a meal together as a second-grade family. 🦃🎉
Happy Thanksgiving break! 🧡
