Mr.Danny Beecham, Henderson County Director of Schools, is pleased to announce Mr. William Forney as the full-time Principal of the Henderson County Virtual School. Mr. Forney served the district in a joint role last year as the virtual school principal and interim principal at Beaver Elementary School.  Before that, he was an assistant principal at Lexington High School for 14 years. Under his leadership, the HCVS blossomed from a concept to a fully functioning school with nearly one hundred students. Last month, the school graduated twenty students in its first-ever commencement ceremony. This coming year, the school will expand its scope to include even more areas of student services.  Mr. Forney is the ideal leader for the implementation and expansion of the HCVS.
