Yesterday, our educators across Henderson County Schools participated in a wide range of meaningful inservice sessions focused on strengthening instruction and supporting the whole child. Professional learning took place across the district and included work in data analysis, instructional planning, content-area collaboration, special education, de-escalation strategies, and grade-level and department-specific training.
A total of 18 professional learning sessions were available to teachers, including four morning sessions conducted at home schools and 14 concurrent afternoon sessions hosted across the district, ensuring targeted professional learning aligned with teachers’ roles and instructional needs.
These opportunities reflect our continued commitment to growth, collaboration, and meeting the needs of every student.
A special thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly to plan and organize these inservices, as well as to those who shared their expertise and led sessions throughout the day. Your time, preparation, and dedication made this day a success.
We are grateful for our educators and their ongoing commitment to learning—just as they ask of their students every day.
