Halloween Candy Wars

🎉 We are celebrating success at BGS! 🎉 Students who have reached 50 AR points earned a refreshing Sonic Slush 🥤, and those who reached 75 AR points were treated to a delicious Wendy’s meal 🍔🍟! We are so proud of our Rebels for their hard work and dedication to reading—keep it up! 📚💙

Mrs. Angie rewarded her 5th and 6th graders with a Sonic Drink for getting 25 AR points this 9 weeks.  

7/8th graders had a fantastic trip to the Memphis Science and History Museum at the Pink Palace. The kids saw exhibits with fossils, civil war, Jim Crowe Laws, and much more.

We are super excited to announce these members of the 25 point club! Today we awarded them with a certificate and some ice cream! We can't wait until next week-we just know there will be even more students to announce! Keep on reading, Rebels!

Friday is Hat Day! Don't forget your dollar and wear your favorite hat!

Mr. Myracle is the first teacher across Henderson County so far (5 schools) to try Mrs. Karissa’s STEM Cultural Experience. This was a seafood snack (Yellow Stripe), roasted and flavored with Asian chili spices. :) Video will be below in the comments.

Christopher "Drake" Davidson & Raylee Fisher represented Bargerton Elementary today at UT Martin's FutureStar Summit. This annual leadership program is designed to empower and inspire future leaders from West Tennessee by offering students the opportunity to develop skills, connect with peers, and explore potential post-secondary opportunities. A special thank you to the WestStar Alumni, for their continued support, which makes this experience possible by covering the cost of student participation. Drake & Raylee also received conditional Letters of Acceptance to the University of Tennessee at Martin💙🧡

Wear your Rebel gear and help us cheer them on as they get ready for a great season! ❤️🖤

2nd-8th Grade BGS Parents, Testing days for this week and next week are as follows:
Thursday, September 25th- ELA
Friday, September 26th- Writing
Monday, September 29th- Math
Tuesday, September 30th- Science
Wednesday, October 1st- Social Studies

Attendance is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT each of these days. We will test first thing in the morning each day.

This morning, our 2nd–8th grade students gathered together for See You at the Pole 🙏. What a beautiful time of prayer as students across the nation lifted up their schools, friends, families, and community. ❤️

In preparation for CASE, tomorrow is Don't Sweat the Test day! All students are welcome to come dressed in their comfiest pjs or sweats as we get to show what we know on CASE! Remember-testing for 2nd-8th starts on Thursday!

Bragerton is proud to be one of the Henderson County Schools participating in the Dental Sealant Program this year! 🦷✨ This program provides FREE preventive dental services for your child, helping to protect their smile and support lifelong oral health.

Consent forms were sent home last week—please return them to Nurse Misty as soon as possible. If you have any questions or need another form, don’t hesitate to contact Nurse Misty at 731-968-7484.

Any student in 2nd–8th grade is welcome to join us at the flagpole for a special time of prayer, as students across the country gather together to pray.

Bargerton had a bird drawing competition in Mr. Coffman’s art classes k-5th. Students were asked to draw a bird of their choice and write a brief statement why they chose that bird. Winners were: 1st place. Sophie Wallace 1st grade 2nd place Luke Hall 2nd grade 3rd place. Connor Wade 3rd grade
