To celebrate the 100th Day of School in math, Mrs. Mallory's first graders practiced counting to 100 and weighing the items they counted. They estimated what 100 would look like, counted it out then compared it to other teams. We then had a light-weight and heavy-weight champion. Out of the items goldfish, marshmallows, chocolate chips, skittles, and M&Ms. Chocolate chips weighed the least and Skittles weighed the most!
