Any student in 2nd–8th grade is welcome to join us at the flagpole for a special time of prayer, as students across the country gather together to pray.

Bargerton had a bird drawing competition in Mr. Coffman’s art classes k-5th. Students were asked to draw a bird of their choice and write a brief statement why they chose that bird. Winners were: 1st place. Sophie Wallace 1st grade 2nd place Luke Hall 2nd grade 3rd place. Connor Wade 3rd grade

We are excited to receive our books from our recent donation from Carroll Bank and Trust. Thank you for supporting our Rebel Library.

We would like to thank Nidec Power for their generous donation to our Rebel Library for the second year. Pictured are Mrs. Jessica Gorden and Mrs. Brandy McDaniel, Librarian . This donation was utilized to update our nonfiction collection with an emphasis on careers.

Wednesday, October 1st- Social Studies

Attendance is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT each of these days. We will test first thing in the morning each day.

HCS BASEBALL TRYOUTS!

As we have rounded this off, 8th finished their Force Unit with a lab on Newtons Laws of Motion by shooting film canister rockets off. Never underestimate the value of labs. Laughs, trial and errors as well as dancing with excitement was rather abundant.

Congratulations to Ralph Scherenberg, Lexie Wood and Anabeth Wood for competing and exhibiting their chickens in the show and sale today at the fair. Just a reminder, 4-H meetings will be starting up this month.

Wednesday is Hat Day! Don't forget your dollar and wear your favorite hat!

Any 5-8th Grader at Bargerton Elem. School is invited to attend our FCA meeting beginning September 16th. They will be every other Tuesday from 7:15-7:45am. Please be at the school at 7am for breakfast.
