Henderson County Schools will be closed on Monday, January 26, and Tuesday, January 27th due to an anticipated winter storm forecast by the National Weather Service and extreme cold through Tuesday morning. Based on current information, weather conditions are expected to create potentially hazardous travel and safety concerns across our district.

7/8th Grade Annual Baby Back Rib Sale will begin Tuesday Jan 20th. $25 will get you a rack of BBQ Ribs on Saturday, Feb 21st. Pick up time is 10-12pm at the BGS Gym. All proceeds go to the rewards and graduation attire for BGS students. Thank you for supporting our students. Deadline to order ribs is Feb. 12th.

Our latest additions to the 25 pt club! We are so proud of all our Reading Rebels! As of today, 50% of our students have at least 25 points AND an 80+% quiz average! We are well on our way to our goal of 100% of our students joining the 25pt club!
In all the holiday craziness, we forgot to post our students who made the 25pt club at the end of December! Awesome job, Reading Rebels!
New reading challenge at Bargerton has begun! We are excited to start our new reading BINGO challenge with a Black History Month theme. Students are encouraged to read and AR test on books that complete the various challenges on the board to help their homeroom win!
