Happy National Principals Month from the Henderson County School District! A big thank you to Mr. Forney and all the amazing Henderson County School Principals who work hard and inspire our students daily. Your impact is truly important, and your dedication to creating a positive school environment makes a difference in many lives. #ThankAPrincipal #NationalPrincipalsMonth
Mr. William Forney has a varied educational background, having earned an Applied Science degree in Accounting from JSCC, a Master's in Special Education from Bethel College, and a Principal Certification from Grand Canyon University. With 3 years as a Special Education teacher and 14 years as an Assistant Principal at LHS, he now serves as Principal at Beaver Elementary and the Henderson County Virtual School. Outside of his professional commitments, Mr. Forney is a deacon at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, leads the church male chorus, and has a passion for photography. He believes his students would be surprised to know his nickname is "Speedy." He believes "anything worth knowing is worth sharing," highlighting the importance of building relationships and fostering school spirit, often by wearing school colors.

Tonight the Hornets will play the Hawks @ South Haven. JV Girls' game will begin at 5:30 and Varsity will follow.
