JAM Day
LHS JAM Day is an all day fundraiser held on Friday, May 5 at LHS hosted by the Renaissance team to raise funds for various charities. This year, the bulk of our profits will be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Center with other local charities benefiting as well.

We have a day packed full of activities planned. During 1st block, students are able to pay $1 to attend the Student vs Teacher basketball game. During 2nd block, we will have a dodgeball tournament, which students can pay another $1 to either participate in or attend to watch. For the afternoon, with a $3 admission fee, there are a wide array of activities that students can participate in, including carnival games, cupcake walk, bracelet making, shrinks dinks, cornhole and other yard games, putt putt golf, pick up ducks, tattoos, Smash Bros tournament, board games, 3v3 basketball, flag football, and more.

Currently, we are selling chances to pie a teacher in the face. Students can purchase a ticket for that from now through Friday morning.

This year, we are also very excited about the water slide that students can pay $5 for unlimited time on Friday afternoon. To participate in the water slide, students need to bring a change of clothes (colored shirt and athletic shorts-no bathing suits allowed) and a towel.

We will also sell concessions throughout the day, including pizza, Coke products, candy, and popcorn.

Students, show up to school on Friday ready to spend some money for a very good cause. Make sure to bring change and avoid big bills as much as possible.
