HOCO Day 3 Babies vs Seniors

Parent Check-In for Friday’s Pep Rally
In accordance with State and Federal Guidelines, all visitors must be properly checked in before entering a school building, which involves mandating visitor sign-in, ID verification, and the use of badge systems.
Parents who plan to attend the pep rally on Friday are encouraged to pre-register using the link below by 11:00 a.m. on Friday. (Pre-registration will be closed at 11:00 a.m.) Doing so will allow a preprinted badge to be ready for pickup at the new building office door at 1:45 p.m., making entry into the gym quicker and more efficient. Note that the preregistration also requires the upload of your licence and a photo.
Visitors who do not pre-register will be required to complete the standard check-in process at the door, which includes presenting a driver’s license and may involve waiting in a lengthy line.
Pre-registration is now open and available here:

Homecoming Week Schedule !!

Thinking outside the box helped us achieve a level 5 status but we had a little fun today at Parent-Teacher Conference inside the box.

A Piece of History Returns to LHS
This week, Lexington High School received a very special gift from an anonymous donor — an almost pristine copy of the very first LHS yearbook from 1925!
Did you know? LHS opened in 1909 and graduated its first class in 1912. And here’s a fun fact — we weren’t always the Tigers! In the beginning, we were known as the Yellowjackets, which is why the very first yearbook was titled “The Black and Gold.”
A few more fun yearbook facts:
📖 1925 – The first yearbook, “The Black and Gold,” was published by the class of 1925.
📖 1926 & 1927 – Yearbooks were also printed.
📖 1938 – The class created “The Minuteman,” but sadly, it was never printed.
📖 1947 – After 20 years, “The Tiger” returned with help from photographer William Arnold.
📖 1952 – The yearbook carried the name “The Cotton Boll,” but has since been “The Tiger.”
We are so thankful for this donation that helps preserve a piece of our school’s story.
