Dear Henderson County Schools Parent/Guardians:
Say “hello” to two-way messaging and classroom announcements in the Henderson County app! With the addition of Rooms, our district app keeps getting better.
Parents/guardians, check your email tonight for instructions to sign up and access new features. If you do not get an email by Tuesday morning, it will be largely due to your email address not being correct in the system. If this is the case for you, please kindly and patiently contact your child's school to ensure the school has the correct email address.
Once you have received the email and followed the instructions, you can log on through the Henderson County Schools App. The “Rooms” feature is a button in the bottom right corner of the phone screen. If not, please update your app. “Rooms” can also be accessed via the web at https://id.edurooms.com/. A direct link to this site will be conveniently located on the Henderson County Schools Website.
Your child can do the same as above but they will not receive an invitation email like the parents/guardians. They can now access “Rooms” through the app or their personal Chromebook via the web.
Remember, this is how all teachers, coaches, club sponsors, students, and parent/guardian communication will happen from this point forward. Therefore, it is critical that parents and students are logged into the “Rooms” portal and that notifications are turned on.
Don't forget, Monday is the big day! "Rooms" is here! Be sure you have the Henderson County App downloaded and ready to go!

Pin Oak is thrilled to be welcoming Mrs. Lindsey Bartholomew to our faculty!
“I am elated to be at Pin Oak teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Science! I just married the love of my life, Derek Bartholomew, this summer. He is also a teacher in Henderson County Schools. We blended our family and have 2 wonderful daughters, Abi, 23 and Celia, 7. When I’m not at school, I love helping Derek on our pig farm, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and SHOPPING!”
Today we will be sending home another copy of the School Health Screening Permission Form. Due to a law passed this summer, we had to add a second check box so that there is both a yes and no box. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please return by Mon. Aug. 14th.
Baseball Tryouts!
Today our students participated in a lockdown drill as part of our emergency preparedness plan. We are very proud of our students. They listened to instructions and the drill was conducted in a calm and orderly fashion. Our students did a great job and I encourage you to discuss the drill with them.

“My name is Kelley Mount and I will be teaching 5th Grade Reading and Social Studies. This will be my sixth year teaching, and I am so excited to spend it joining Pin Oak Elementary. I have been married to my husband, Trevor, for 8 years. We have two daughters, Gracie and Alora. I love to read, go shopping, and spend quality time with my family. I look forward to an amazing school year!”
