Say “hello” to two-way messaging and classroom announcements in the Henderson County app! With the addition of Rooms, our district app keeps getting better.
Parents/guardians, check your email tonight for instructions to sign up and access new features. If you do not get an email by Tuesday morning, it will be largely due to your email address not being correct in the system. If this is the case for you, please kindly and patiently contact your child's school to ensure the school has the correct email address.
Once you have received the email and followed the instructions, you can log on through the Henderson County Schools App. The “Rooms” feature is a button in the bottom right corner of the phone screen. If not, please update your app. “Rooms” can also be accessed via the web at https://id.edurooms.com/. A direct link to this site will be conveniently located on the Henderson County Schools Website.
Your child can do the same as above but they will not receive an invitation email like the parents/guardians. They can now access “Rooms” through the app or their personal Chromebook via the web.
Remember, this is how all teachers, coaches, club sponsors, students, and parent/guardian communication will happen from this point forward. Therefore, it is critical that parents and students are logged into the “Rooms” portal and that notifications are turned on.

My name is Jacob Feehan, and I am Scotts Hill High School's new English teacher! I graduated from SHHS in 2019, and I am looking forward to returning to the school that I love so much. I have worked a variety of jobs throughout my life - including farming, pool cleaning, and campaign assistant - but I am most excited about being a teacher. This is a career I have dreamed of for some time, and I am happy to finally begin!

Rebekah Comer is excited to be joining the SHHS faculty as a 9th grade English teacher! After graduating from Scotts Hill in 2015, she attended Mississippi State University for her undergraduate degree before going on to earn a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Mississippi College. Ms. Comer has been teaching 7th grade ELA in Mississippi for the last four years, so she is thrilled to be a Lion again!
My name is Alex Bell and I graduated from Riverside High School. I have lived in Lexington for 8 years. I began my career teaching 8th grade math and assistant girls basketball coach at Decatur Co. Middle School. I then moved to RHS to teach Algebra I and II while assisting boys basketball until I moved to Henderson Co. in 2022 to be in the same county as my family. I taught 7th grade math at Westover. My wife, Mallory Bell, teaches 3rd grade ELA at South Side Elementary School and that is where my two daughters, Ava (upcoming 3rd), and Vayda (upcoming 2nd) attend. I am
am ecstatic to be at Scott’s Hill High School with our two older boys, Lane (upcoming senior) and Rylan (incoming freshman). I look forward to being closer to my entire family and back teaching at the high school level.
