Our Algebra I students are enjoying the weather with a friendly math
competition with Mrs. Jones & Mr. Bell's classes!
We enjoyed a visit from Director Beecham. In the pictures you will see the drone purchased by the ISM grant. Mr. Webb, Coach Qualls, Mr. Bridges, and Coach Clayton have all helped to get the drone operating. We will plan to use it for spraying fertilizer and possibly insecticide and herbicide applications on athletic fields soon.

The SHHS girls Golf team came in Runner -up in the 7A Region Tournament this past Wednesday at TRGC . They fell short on their goal by few strokes by getting to move on the State Tournament which will held in Sevierville, TN the second week in October. Overall they had a good season and with one freshmen and two sophmores future looks bright. Unfortunately Drake Johnson missed the cut to move on also by 1 stroke to the State Tournament.

We are all so grateful for the extra care our cafeteria team shows to everyone on our campus! The extra effort you all put into planning, preparing, and serving the special menus during National Lunch Week (and every week) at SHHS adds a bit of excitement to our days! We thank you all! 🤗
