Lady Hawks!! Any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade girl can go scrimmage at Scott’s Hill High School at 10:00 Thursday and Friday this week! Parents can stay and watch! This would be good practice if you can attend!

🦅 New Teacher Spotlight! Please give a warm South Haven welcome to Audrey Mills! 🦅✨

We are absolutely thrilled to introduce Mrs. Mills, who is joining our flock as our new Special Education Extended Resource teacher! Audrey grew up in Henderson County and brings 4.5 years of specialized experience teaching at a program in Chattanooga, where she focused heavily on behavioral and emotional support for students.

Her passion is teaching the whole child. She is dedicated to teaching students how to self-regulate so they can cultivate lifelong success—a beautiful reflection of our school values of Perseverance and Responsibility!

Get to Know Mrs. Mills:

🎓 Alma Mater: University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (Go Mocs!), with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.
🐈 Family: She lives with her husband, Jess, and their two cats, Gohan and Juno!
🧵 Hobbies: When she isn't in the classroom, she loves sewing, making art, and running her own small business.
🌎 Fun Fact: She has actually ziplined directly over the Amazon Rainforest in Ecuador! 🧗‍♀️🌳

Michelle is joining us with a wealth of experience in education! She has proudly served as a paraprofessional at Westover Elementary since 2015 and recently earned her Bachelor's degree in K–5 Education from the University of Tennessee at Martin. 🎓

She is incredibly passionate about creating a positive learning environment where her students can grow both academically and personally. We know her dedication to building meaningful relationships with her students and their families is going to make this an amazing year! 📝❤️

☀️ Free Summer Meals Program for Our Kids & Teens! ☀️

As we head into the summer break, I want to make sure all of our wonderful families know about an incredible resource available in our community. The Southwest Human Resource Agency and SUN Tennessee are offering a Free Summer Meals Program that delivers food right to your front door!

Here are the details:

Who is eligible: All kids and teens aged 18 and under.

What you get: 7 breakfasts and 7 suppers once a week for each child in your home.

How to sign up: You can scan the QR code on the flyer to register your family!

If you have any questions or need help registering, you can give them a call at 731-513-7262. Let's make sure all of our kids stay fueled and healthy this summer. Please feel free to share this post to help spread the word to other local families! 🍎🥦✨
