Henderson County Schools pauses to reflect on the importance of Black History Month.
Black History Month provides an opportunity to recognize and honor the achievements, resilience, leadership, and lasting contributions of Black Americans — in our nation, across Tennessee, and here in our own community. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn, to listen, and to grow together. At each of our Henderson County Schools, we remain committed to ensuring every student feels seen, valued, and empowered to make a difference.
We are excited to announce South Haven Cheer Tryouts will be held March 23–25 in the school gym from 3:00–4:30 PM each day!
📅 Clinic Days: March 23–24
Participants will learn a chant and cheer to perform at tryouts.
📅 Tryout Day: March 25
👟 What to Bring & Wear:
• Wear tennis shoes each day
• Bring a water bottle
• For tryouts: T-shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes
This is a great opportunity for students to show their spirit, learn new skills, and be part of something special! We can’t wait to see everyone in the gym ready to shine! 💛📣

Henderson Co. South Football Cheerleading tryouts for the 2026–2027 season are just around the corner, and we can’t wait to see our future cheerleaders show off their spirit! 💛🖤
🗓 Tryout Camp Dates & Times:
• February 25: 3:00–5:00
• February 26: 3:00–5:30
• February 27: 3:00–5:00 (Official Tryouts)
📌 Important Information:
✔ Students must attend all three days
✔ A parent permission form will be sent home and must be completed before participating
✔ What to wear: hair in a ponytail, t-shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes
✔ Sign-up sheet will be available in the school lobby
