National Day of Prayer is the first Thursday in May each year. On May 2, students who wanted to participate gathered outside of our school to pray and reflect. Thank you to all who participated.

Henderson County Gets Ready To Countdown to Kindergarten

Henderson County Schools invites you and your child to attend a night of new beginnings on Tuesday, May 7 at 5:00 PM -- Countdown to Kindergarten. Parents who have a youngster going to Kindergarten for the first time this coming Fall are encouraged to attend this free workshop. Those attending will get expert advice, learn helpful hints, and hear insider secrets that can make going to Kindergarten exciting and fun for both children and parents.
Who: Students who will be 5 years old on or before August 15, 2023
What: Countdown To Kindergarten
When: Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 5:00
Where: At each Henderson County Elementary School
Why: Positively transitioning your student into kindergarten
Kindergarten had some amazing visitors today to show us the parts of a plant that we could eat. We love our amazing lunch ladies and the joy they bring to our students, faculty and staff!
