📚 Congratulations to our first grade classes on an amazing achievement in Accelerated Reader this year! Every first grade student earned either a medallion for reaching 50 AR points or a 100 Point Trophy with 85% mastery or higher. What an incredible accomplishment!

Ms.Tiftonia's kindergarten had a camping themed day including reading under the clouds and stars, going on a bear hunt, having a picnic with hot dogs, chips, and capri suns, making smores and painting a campfire!
South Side was proudly represented today at the county spelling bee! Our students, Natalia Couples, Logan Wright, and Kinsley Tuberville, did a great job representing our school. We are proud of their hard work and courage to compete! 🐝💙

Our Mystery Picture for Accelerated Reader this semester was a huge hit! This was our second one of the year, and the students absolutely loved it.
They had so much fun adding stickers to the picture for each AR test they passed—what a great way to celebrate their hard work and progress. We’re so proud of their dedication to reading! 📚✨

7th grade had a great field trip to Donnell Farms!
Today our 8th grade students enjoyed participating in the 4-H On My Own program — a real-life financial simulation that gave students hands-on experience with budgeting, decision-making, and planning for the future.
Thank you to everyone involved for helping make this valuable learning experience possible for our students!
