More first week fun in Kindergarten...

We had a great first week of school in Kindergarten! We found Pete the Cat and our letters went up the coconut tree. 🌴 Chicka Chicka Boom Boom 💥

4th Grade top AR readers of week 1. Keep reading and getting those points!

Good luck to our HC South Cross Country team as they compete in their first race of the season today! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Look at these beautiful South Side Mustangs buttons that were donated to our school library by Hair by Mandy! 💚💛 We truly appreciate your generosity and support of our school. A special shoutout to Katie Harper for creating these amazing buttons—they turned out beautifully! If anyone else would like to donate South Side Mustangs buttons to our school library, please contact Ms. April or Katie Harper. Every donation helps us continue to make our library a fun and welcoming place for our students. 🐴📚

Congratulations to the Henderson County South Football Team on another big win tonight! 🏈 The Lions improve to 2-0 on the season! Keep up the great work, and good luck the rest of the season. Go Lions!

Please remember to place your car rider tag on the passenger side of your dashboard during afternoon dismissal. Having your tag clearly visible helps our staff identify vehicles quickly and keeps our pickup line moving safely and efficiently.

Thank you for helping us make dismissal as smooth and fast as possible!

🏈 Good luck to our HC South Middle School Football as they take the field tonight for their first home game of the season!

Happy Birthday!!

Parents & Students – Here's a Head Start for the New School Year! The ParentVUE and StudentVUE apps have been updated in the App Store! If you use these apps to view your student's information, you'll need to: ✅ Delete the old ParentVUE/StudentVUE app ✅ Download the NEW ParentVUE or StudentVUE app from the App Store 😊Good news: Parents and students will continue to use their existing usernames and passwords to log in. No new account is needed! These apps are where you'll be able to access: 📚 Student schedules 📝 Attendance 🎓 Grades ⚠️ Please Note: Student schedules have NOT been released yet, and teachers have not been assigned. We simply wanted to give parents and students a heads up so you'll be ready when schedules become available! ❗This is NOT the Rooms app. Rooms is the communication platform used by Henderson County Schools for school and classroom communication. It is accessed through the Henderson County Schools app and is separate from ParentVUE and StudentVUE. Getting the new app now means you'll be ready as soon as schedules are released! ⚠️Regarding those who do not recall their user names or passwords: Please contact your child's school. If you do not receive an answer (because staff may be in meetings or unavailable), please email Melissa Bailey at bailey.melissa@hcschoolstn.org or Jessica Forney at forney.jessica@hcschoolstn.org.

🏈 Only 2 Weeks Until South Henderson County Middle School Football! 🏈 The countdown is on! Be sure to save the schedule so you can come out and support these hardworking boys all season long.
