Just a reminder, Open House is tonight from 5-6:30! Kindergarten parents need to pick up their staggered enrollment information tonight. We look forward to seeing everyone!
🎾🎾🎾 Middle school tennis tryouts will be on Tuesday from 7 to 8 pm at LHS tennis courts, and Thursday's tryouts will be from 7 to 8 pm at Scotts Hill Tennis courts. We are doing this to avoid the heat index. Thank you all for your understanding.🎾🎾🎾
✂️PRE-K Openings in Henderson County Schools✏️
All children who will be four (4) years old on or before August 15, 2025, are eligible to apply for PreK for the 2025-2026 school year.
Requested documents for enrollment:
-Proof of Income (ex: check stub, income tax return, public assistance case, etc.)
-Proof of age such as birth certificate, other medical documents
-Social Security Card
-Proof of Immunizations on a Tennessee Certificate of Immunization form from the Health Department or a Physician’s office
-Copy of Physical Examination (within 1 calendar year)
-Two (2) Proofs of County Residence (E911 address) (ex: electric bill, water bill, etc.)

Voluntary PreK (VPK) is an income-based program and priority will be given to those families that qualify. Completing the Henderson County PreK application packet does not guarantee enrollment in the PreK program. Non-income eligible students are placed on a waiting list once all paperwork is complete. Per the VPK grant guidelines, non-income eligible students will be notified mid-September informing them of their waitlist status.

Kindergarten at South Side will have staggered enrollment from August 4–11 to help our little Mustangs ease into the school routine.
All kindergarteners will come together starting August 12!
🗓️ Detailed calendars will be handed out at Open House on July 29 from 5:00–6:30 PM. Come meet the teachers, tour the school, and get everything you need for a great start!
