Westover Elementary School recently celebrated the incredible talent and hard work of the Westover Singers during their highly anticipated Spring Concert. This year’s performance, themed “Songs Through the Decades,” took the audience on a musical journey through time with beloved hits from multiple eras.

Throughout the evening, students wowed the crowd with energetic performances, beautiful harmonies, and memorable musical moments. The concert featured several outstanding solos, duos, and trios that highlighted the confidence and talent of Westover’s young performers. Families, friends, and staff members filled the audience and showed their support with enthusiastic applause as the students took the stage.

A special moment of the evening came as the choir honored its 8th grade members for their dedication and commitment to the program. Students recognized included Emma Usery, Katie Maynard, Kylee Maynard, Sazsori Molina, Matsuri Molina, Tiarra Raymer, Paisley Yates, Madeline Flanagan, Ella Kate Roberson, and Mayla Tims. Each student received a special gift in recognition of their years of participation and hard work as members of the Westover Singers.

The concert was directed by Lauren Gatlin and Rachel Mitchell, whose leadership and encouragement helped make the evening a tremendous success. Their dedication to helping students grow in both talent and confidence was evident throughout every performance.

Following the concert, students and families enjoyed a special reception celebrating the choir’s accomplishments and the success of the evening. The event served as a fitting reward for the countless hours of practice, preparation, and dedication invested by the students and directors throughout the year.

The Westover Singers’ Spring Concert was truly a night to remember and a wonderful showcase of the talent, teamwork, and Bear pride found at Westover Elementary School.f
