Westover’s 8th graders kicked off the school year with a night full of fun, laughter, food, and unforgettable memories during the first annual 8th Grade Lock-In!
Students spent the evening playing games, enjoying good food, hanging out with their friends, and making memories together as they celebrated their final year at Westover. The night even included a little unexpected excitement when some of our crazy kindergarten teachers stopped by to give the students a fright! 👻😂
A special thank-you goes to Mr. Shumate, Mr. Buckley, our 8th grade teachers, Coach Mitchell, Mrs. Rachel Mitchell, Ms. Gabby Maxwell, and Ms. Anna Montgomery for chaperoning and helping make the evening such a success. We are also grateful to all of the staff members and parents who helped throughout the night, including the many staff members who popped in to visit and support our students.
Events like this take a lot of teamwork, and we are incredibly thankful for everyone who gave their time, energy, and support to make this night possible.
The first annual 8th Grade Lock-In was definitely one for the books—and we have a feeling our 8th graders will be talking about it for a long time to come!
Thank you to everyone who helped make this special night one our students won’t soon forget! 🐻💙💛
Westover knows how to make memories!
