We are extremely proud of our BGS students who are working hard and reaching their long term goals for our AR point club!
We currently have:
25 points- 77 students
50 points- 88 students
75 points- 32 students
100+ points- 23 students.
220/246 students are in the AR point club which means these students have at least 18 points. Our goal is to have 100% of BGS students in this club so we encourage everyone to keep reading!
We celebrated with AR rewards on Thursday, March 14th for students who have met the following expectations:
(K-4)15 points and (5-8) 9 points- popcorn and coke during break
25 points- coke float/ice cream sundae
75 points- McDonald's lunch with the principal
Enjoy the pictures from our 75 point celebration yesterday!

Completing the Henderson County PreK application packet does not necessarily guarantee enrollment in the PreK program. Non-income eligible students are placed on a waiting list once all paperwork is complete. Once all qualifying students are placed, non-income eligible students will receive a notice informing them of their status after the beginning of school, per the VPK grant guidelines.
