Lexington High School Named a Level 5 School for 2024–2025
Lexington High School has once again demonstrated its tradition of excellence, earning the distinction of being named a Level 5 School for the 2024–2025 school year. This achievement reflects the hard work of students, the dedication of teachers, and the support of families and the community who believe in the mission of academic success at LHS.
In Tennessee, Level 5 is the highest rating schools can achieve on the state’s accountability scale, which measures student academic growth. Reaching this level signifies that students at Lexington High School are making progress at the top level statewide, showing exceptional gains in their learning and mastery of key subjects.
This honor highlights the commitment of the Lexington High School faculty and staff to creating a learning environment where students are challenged and supported in reaching their full potential. It also affirms the school’s long-standing tradition of excellence, built on decades of hard work, high expectations, and a deep belief in the power of education to open doors for young people.
While the Level 5 distinction is a significant milestone, the state will announce Grade Levels and Reward School designations in December, giving schools across Tennessee another opportunity to showcase their progress.
Lexington High School is proud of this accomplishment and looks forward to continuing to build on this success as it prepares students for bright futures.

& 86 units collected! We are so proud of all who participated this semester and hope we have more in the spring!

The Lady Tigers Soccer team will play their first home game at Tiger Stadium on Tuesday night, September 2nd! We want to remind all of those who attended our camp this summer about our Camp Showcase before the game. We will meet the campers at the concession stand area at 5:30. We hope to see you all there!

Who’s Who & Homecoming Royalty Voting
Tomorrow, students will cast their votes for Who’s Who and Football Homecoming Royalty. Voting will take place online during 1st block through student email and will be open from 8:00–9:00 a.m.

This season, Mrs. Kelly Page’s Life Skills class has been teaming up with the football players to help with their laundry. Students are learning valuable everyday skills such as washing, drying, and hanging clothes—all while supporting their classmates. Thanks to their hard work, the Tigers are looking sharp and ready to take the field on Friday nights!
The 1st Culinary Arts club meeting will be Wednesday, August 27th during 5th block in room 10 (Ms. Lisa Coffman's room). Please be reminded that you must have applied to join in advance and must check in with your 5th block teacher prior to attending. All former club members must reapply each year. Applications can be picked up in room 10.
