We pushed our Teacher Appreciation Week celebrations back a week so that we could focus on wrapping up state testing and graduation, but we made up for it by celebrating in style all week long. Faculty and staff were treated to catered meals, breakfast and sweets in the teacher's lounge, daily door prizes, drink/snack cart door delivery, and new school spirit shirts. Our LHS family is the best, and we hope they know how appreciated they are every day. Thank you to the administrators and clubs who took part in making this week a success.

Lexington High School had the privilege of hosting the Henderson County Special Olympics. We are thankful for all of the clubs and teams that contributed their time and effort to make this a successful event!

Nathan Martz and Reign Britton from Sports Plus came to speak to Mrs. Young and Mrs. Lovins' students. They had the opportunity to learn about the careers within Physical Therapy and Athletic Training. The students always enjoy their visit!

After studying Greek mythology in class, Ms. Lidian's students were challenged to create their own original monsters and creatures inspired by the myths and legends of Ancient Greece. Using creativity, storytelling, and clay sculpting skills, they designed and sculpted these incredible creations from start to finish.
