Mrs. Dewald’s first block history class recently explored how military food rations have changed over time! Students compared modern-day MREs (Meals Ready-to-Eat) to the rations used by U.S. soldiers during World War I. It was a hands-on way to connect the past to the present and see history come to life!
Hands-on learning makes anatomy stick! It was a fun day using creativity to build edible 3D models of the skin in Mrs. Lovins' class!

Renaissance celebrated students this week with popcorn and drinks.
Chemistry 2 used their math skills to calculate the percent composition of Oreos, then compared filling ratios between regular and “mega” stuffed cookies.
Lexington Tennis kicked their season off tonight. They opened the season against Collinwood with the boys winning 7-0 and the girls winning 6-1. Great start to the season!!! They will continue play with Hardin County and Scotts Hill coming to town next week. Go Tigers!!!!

Mrs. Britt is offering after-school math tutoring in room 121 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you plan to stay for an afternoon, please sign the sheet outside her room so that she can have snacks for you. Tutoring ends each day at 4:30, but you can leave early if you need to.
