Friday, October 13: English/Reading 2nd Block - Ms. Massey
Monday, October 16: Science 1st Block - Mr. McAdams
Monday, October 16: Math 2nd Block - Mrs. Snider
*** Roll will be taken in each session, and Project Grad points will be given

Since National Custodian Day fell over fall break, we celebrated our school custodians today. The Renaissance team decorated their door and provided them breakfast to show our appreciation.
The Titans are hosting a fundraiser for LHS AFJROTC. Tickets are $45, with $10 from each ticket directly supporting JROTC activities.

LHS' AFJROTC Raiders Team competed in their first-ever meet on 29 Sep at Austin Peay State University. Raiders is a team obstacle/knowledge course testing both body & mind. Fourteen teams competed in 7 head-to-head events. The Tiger Raiders placed 1st in 4 of their events.

On 22 Sept, 96 cadets of LHS’ AFJROTC toured a USAF C-130J cargo aircraft. The tour included aircraft and cockpit familiarization, career development briefings by pilots & crewmembers & was chaperoned by Coach Johnson who discussed his time in the Army as a Ranger & paratrooper.
Ms. Lidian's 9th and 10th grade classes enjoyed ice cream after meeting and/or beating their projections on the CASE assessment.

The LHS TigerArt Club and Mrs. Amber Douglas helped paint the butterfly mural in town on Sunday afternoon to celebrate Butterfly Day. This is a community mural in cooperation with the Butterfly Project and the Chamber of Commerce.

Members of HOSA, along with Mrs. Young and Mrs. Lovins, visited Union University last week as a reward for raising money for St. Jude. Students toured the Nursing, Pharmacy, and Cadaver Labs as well as the campus. We love to see our students exposed to these opportunities.
