The LHS Cross Country team competed in the Crockett County Invitational Meet on Tuesday. The boy's team placed 6th and the girl's team placed 4th. Millie Davis and Brooklynn Trosper both medaled in the girl's run. The team is working hard while continuing to think about making it to the State run on November 7th!! They would also like to thank all of the people who came, ate, and supported the team at the Farmhouse fundraiser on Monday. It was a great success!

Coach Bowman’s US history students were blessed to have a speaker from the The Bill of Rights/ The Federalist Society today. Mr. Condor spoke to the the students about WWI and the first amendment with Supreme Court Cases Schenck v US, Debs v US, and Abrams v US. He also spoke about other well known Supreme Court cases like Plessy v Ferguson, Brown v Board, Tinker v Des Moines, and Brandenburg v Ohio. The Bill of Rights only chose 30 high schools nation wide to speak at for Constitution week. We were grateful to be chosen at Lexington High School!
