The LHS Best Buddies met this week! They enjoyed meeting new friends and planning fun activities together. ❤️




The LHS Cross Country team competed in the Huntington Invitational Meet on Tuesday. The girl's team received 5th place and the boy's team placed 2nd overall! Millie Davis (16th) and Brooklynn Trosper(13th) medaled for the Lady Tigers, and Ryan Goff(20th) Adam Zukowski(5th), and Zach Basham(3rd) medaled for the boys. These runners are working hard in order to earn a trip back to State in November. There is a fundraiser at the Farmhouse on Monday night, September 16th from 5-7 p.m. Plates are $15. Please come out and support the LHS Cross Country team! Go Tigers!!

On Tuesday, the Lexington Tigers Cross Country team hosted a meet at the Lexington Soccer Complex. They welcomed 29 different schools and over 340 runners! The boy's team placed 3rd with Adam Zukowski placing 2nd and Zach Basham placing 7th out of almost 200 runners! Millie Davis placed 14th for the girl's team out of almost 150 runners! Congratulations to all of these runners and their teams who showed such great endurance in extreme heat! Coach Small would like to thank all of the parents, co-workers and volunteers who helped make this meet so successful! A special thank you goes to Mrs. Kathy Wysiadlowski for all of her help and guidance this week! The Tigers will head to Huntingdon on Tuesday for their next meet. Let's go Tigers!🐯

Please note the following information regarding the new stadium and tonight’s game:
1. The ticket price is $8.
2. There are two ticket booths for entering the stadium: north and south gates
- South Gate - adjacent to the long parking lot and auditorium
- North Gate - adjacent to the band room
3. The “pass gate” is just beyond the south ticket booth. A table will be set up in front of the stadium entrance to present these passes.
4. The seatback chairs and bleachers on the 50-yard line are reserved for season ticket holders.
5. The following items are prohibited: Backpacks, Duffle Bags, Large Oversized Purses, Speakers of any kind, Confetti Poppers, and Coolers.

The youth health council meets this Thursday in room 3 after going to 5th block for roll check. See Ms. Coffman for permission forms. You MUST turn in your club permission form prior to attending or at the first meeting to join. There is no fee to join. The club is sponsored by the health department and Ms. Coffman. Ms. Coffman has permission forms to join the culinary club and the Health council in Room 10.

Students in Ms. Coffman's family and consumer science classes have been putting their new appliances and cookware to good use! 1st block made homemade cinnamon rolls, and the afternoon classes made spaghetti and garlic toast.
