On Wednesday, September 4th, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, voting will be open for Class Favorites, Who's Who, and Homecoming Royalty.
Voting Process: Students will vote and submit their ballots using their Chromebooks. An email will be sent to all students at 8:00 AM with further instructions. Students will have the opportunity to review their class list and cast their vote.
Requirements: Students must use their Henderson County Schools email to vote. Only one submission per student is allowed.
Important: Voting will close at 9:00 AM sharp. There will be no exceptions. Students who are off campus should make arrangements to log in and cast their vote. Student lists will be available in the new building office for students off campus.

SENIORS: Save the date for ACT Blitz. These mini sessions will be a refresher for you before the senior retake on Tuesday, October 22nd.


The LHS Cross Country team traveled to Covington on Tuesday. The team endured 100° weather and tough hills along the 3.1 mile course. Millie Davis placed 11th for the Lady Tigers and Adam Zukowski placed 3rd for the Tigers. The boy's team received 3rd place overall. These runners faced many challenges but had amazing finishes! Congratulations to all of the runners who conquered this course and crossed that finish line!! Next Thursday, September 5th, the Tigers will host as well as compete in the meet at the Lexington Soccer Complex starting with the girls at 4:30. Come out and support these hard working and dedicated runners!

What does JROTC do after school? They pull transfer trucks. 😎 Actually, they are practicing for the October 5th APSU Raiders Challenge! Go JROTC!!


The Life Skills class has been helping the football team with the players' laundry. They recently washed and hung the uniforms in the players' lockers. At Lexington High School, we are family! ❤️🐅 GBR!


The LHS Cross Country team participated in the Milan Invitational 5k Meet on Tuesday. The girl's team finished in 4th place, and the boy's team finished in 2nd place. As individuals, Adam Zukowski, Zach Basham, Ryan Goff, and Ethan Armstrong received medals for finishing in the top 20 of their race. Millie Davis, Brooklyn Trosper, and Addison Stanfill were medalists for the girl's team. For several runners, this was their first 5k meet, and they did great! Congratulations to all of the runners for their successes! The team will travel to Covington next week for their next meet.

REMINDER: This year we will have TWO picture days. Freshmen & Sophomores will take their photos on Wednesday, August 21st. Juniors and Faculty/Staff will take their photos on Thursday, August 22. These will be in the auditorium. Please see the graphic for the backdrop, so you can dress appropriately.


Students in Coach Bowman's class did a museum walk thru over immigration and industrialization during the Gilded Age, where they analyzed different groups of people or events during that time to see their impact on American Society. The stations included new immigrants, working conditions, urban living, safety concerns, child labor, wages, Ellis Island and Ethnic Neighborhoods.
