LHS Tennis tryouts will be October 21 - 25 after school from 3:00-4:00pm.
Times are subject to change depending on weather or number of people trying out.
All Athletes interested in playing must have a completed sports physical before the first day of tryouts and must see Coach Bartlett (Room 139C) before Oct. 17.

Rainey Announced as New Principal for Lexington High School
Henderson County Schools is pleased to announce that Brandon Rainey has been selected as the new principal at Lexington High School, effective the 2024-2025 academic school year.
Mr. Brandon Rainey has been a member of the administrative team at Lexington High School for the past 14 years, serving as an Assistant Principal under Mr. Steve Lindsey. Mr. Rainey is a 1998 graduate of LHS. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Freed-Hardeman University. He later returned to Freed-Hardeman, obtaining a Master of Education degree in curriculum and instruction. Mr. Rainey received his Instructional Leadership endorsement from Bethel University. Mr. Rainey is married to Rebecca Armstrong Rainey. They have two children, Maci and Addie.

We are so proud of the season these young men had. Bradley and Joel finished runner ups in the regional tennis tournament. They played a lot of good tennis with the championship coming down to the wire. Congrats to these two!


Congratulations to Coach Shelby Bowman and these three students that passed the Statewide Dual Credit World History Exam. Passing this incredibly hard test (only 7% passing rate in the state of Tennessee) gives them 3 hours of college world history credit. Important Notice: Delay in Distribution of 2024 Tiger Yearbooks
We sincerely apologize for the unforeseen delay in the distribution of the 2024 Tiger yearbooks. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, there has been a delay in the printing process. Distribution of the yearbooks will now take place on Tuesday, May 21st in the New Building lobby by the flag pole. Seniors will be able to pick up and purchase extras from 8-9am. Underclassmen may begin picking up yearbooks and purchase extras from 9-11am.
