It’s Meet Our Team Monday! Each Monday, we’ll share profiles featuring our dedicated faculty and staff who go above and beyond to make our school the outstanding and welcoming community that it is. Our state scores speak to the commitment of our faculty and staff. We want to introduce who each one is as a person. Join us in celebrating our team each week.

LHS has been participating in the School Uplift program, which is designed to promote energy saving behaviors at schools. Since August, LHS has saved energy equivalent to planting 114 trees! Thanks to Mrs. Marchbanks and the Electric Tigers for encouraging us all to save energy.

One of the best school days of the year is always the Special Education Talent Show. We at LHS are blessed by our Special Education students and were lucky enough to have them share some of their talents with us.

Today is a BIG day for the LHS AFJROTC! Today is their US Air Force Headquarters' formal inspection that occurs once every three years. Good luck to each of you today. You are an incredible group of students. 🇺🇸

LHS tennis finally got to play a match this week after canceling the first two of the week due to weather. They traveled to Jackson to play South Side in a district match up. The boys’ team won 7-0 and the girls’ team won 6-1. Congratulations to all the players. They continue district play next week with Chester County and Hardin County.

Please help us welcome our new dance coach, Cara Beecham!

Lexington High School extends warm wishes to Mary Woodall on School Librarian's Day! We are truly grateful for her presence in our school and deeply appreciate all that she contributes.

A big thank you to Mr. George Milam of Paris Tennessee’s Swamp Creek Pottery for visiting the TigerArt Club during their April Meeting on Wednesday! Mr. Milam brought several finished wares to our classroom and some that were bisque fired, bone dry, and leather-hard. He demonstrated throwing on the wheel and adding texture to the leather-hard pieces. The students were also shown the difference between two clay bodies and got to get their hands dirty, a little. I think you can see that EVERYONE had a blast!!!
